Blue Fired Brown Aluminum Oxide

Brown Fused Aluminum Oxide turns blue after calcined at the certain high temperature. The impurities existed in the abrasives will be separated out or vaporized. The surface of each particle becomes coarser, which greatly improves the hydrophilcity of abrasive grains. After calcinations, the micro-cracks which brought in the breaking process can eliminate, thus greatly improving the toughness, strength and enhancing the wear resistance of the abrasive.

Application:

It has higher strength, higher hydrophilic, can eliminate abnormal expansion during abrasive firing, can avoid the mesh cracks / map cracks and rust spots of the fired abrasives. Suitable for top grade coated abrasives and bonded abrasives.
