Calcined Alumina

Calcined alumina is produced through the calcination (“heating”) of alumina to various temperatures. Combined with state of the art process control equipment we are able to produce a range of high alpha alumina grades with controlled soda chemistry, surface area and partied size distributions.

It has high hardness and compression strength, wear-resistance, chemical inertness, high degree of refractoriness and melting point, superior electrical insulating properties, resistance to thermal shock, dielectric Properties.

Application:

 It can be used for the unshaped refractories (all kinds of high aluminium castables) and shaped refractories (corundum bricks), monolithics and pre-case shapes used in foundry, iron and steel making.
